Welcome to Penquis District
The Penquis District Proudly Serves. Our district consists of Piscataquis county, and the Newport and Millinocket areas of Penobscot County. We serve over 500 youth with over 200 adult registered volunteers. We have Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing (co-ed) and Exploring (co-ed job shadowing).

The Camporee Theme
The 2010 Spring Camporee is all about the basics of Boy Scouting. In honor of the 100th anniversary of Scouting in America, the camporee will focus on the core skills and adventures that are symbolic of Scouting. The activities that have been chosen will challenge the boys in basic skills and games, where participation is all that’s required to have fun.
