Waldo County Emergency Preparedness Exercise

Scouts of all ages and their families are invited to participate in a 24 hour exercise to help Waldo County emergency staff and volunteers practice the skills needed to set up and run a community emergency shelter for people and pets. Parents and siblings are welcome.

RSVP by August 1 to emaassistant@waldocountyme.gov

When: 9 am Saturday August 28 to 9 am Sunday August 29

Where: Lincolnville Central School

You Bring: Pillow, towel, toiletries, medicines, and other personal items.

We Provide: Meals, snacks, cot, blankets, fun activities, and a chance to work toward first aid and other Boy Scout badges.

Other Activities: Check out the Waldo County ham radio communications trailer and learn about emergency preparedness. An after dinner movie is planned as well.
