Since we began our Eagle Week Program years ago it has been a great success. This year we will host this weeklong Trail to Eagle special session during week 2. The morning sessions will allow Scouts to participate in the regular summer camp Merit Badge Program and have access to Eagle required Merit Badges not offered in the regular program. Afternoons will be occupied with sessions on: understanding the Eagle Scout Community Service project, how to select a project, completing the Eagle Scout application, understanding Life and Eagle Scout rank requirements, and more.
This special Eagle Week Program is open to all Scouts of Star and Life Ranks. There is a limit, and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-taken basis.
So many choices, so little time!

It’s that time of year to start thinking about all the fun you can have at Camp Roosevelt this summer. There are many new and exciting additions to camp including a new athletic field, dining lodge with an indoor climbing wall. Imagine all the fun you can have playing soccer on the new sports field or trying out the wall in the new lodge. Merit badges are available in swimming, handicrafts, camping skills, archery, rifle, nature and cooking. The New Scout program is available to help you learn those camping skills. Older scouts will have the opportunity to take COPE. So tell your Scoutmaster and parents that you want to come to Camp Roosevelt this summer and experience all the fun and adventure that camp has to offer.
