During the Summer of 2010, the Katahdin Area Council will transform each of their Day Camp properties into a true Birthday Party! FUN will be the main objective of the day as campers will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Scouting program as well as several other activities designed to engage your child's imagination. As always, the Katahdin Area Council considers the safety of your child first and all activities are conducted under the safest conditions. Along with our exciting theme, the activities that your child has come to love and the quality you have come to expect will be provided under the watchful eyes of our trained staff. Archery, BB target shooting, Arts and Crafts, games and of course Swimming are just a few of the activities that your child will be involved with on a daily basis.
For the convenience of our campers, four Day Camp options will be available during 2010. Day Camps will be located in the following Districts. Washington, Waldo, Hancock and North Star. Please check the council website (www.katahdinareabsa.org) for location details.

How does my son attend? Easy. It is recommended that your boy attends with his Den and Pack during a chosen week, or weeks. Your Cub master and Den Leader have the information for registration. If your son is unable to attend at that time, he can attend and be placed with other Cub Scouts his age in our Provisional Program.
