Brewer, Maine - 3/8 - Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Camp Leaders Meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 13th, 2010 at Jeff's Catering will now be held at the Brewer Parks and Recreation Building on Wilson Street (A.K.A Brewer Auditorium). Same program, same time (10:00AM until approximitly 2:00PM). Lunch will still be served. Thank you for understanding.

Dear Leaders,
The Katahdin Area Council is proud to announce that we are conducting three (3) leaders meeting for those leaders attending summer camp 2010. The first of these two meetings will be held at the Unity Performing Arts Complex in Unity Maine on March 6, 2010 beginning at 10:00 AM. The second meeting will take place at Brewer Parks and Recreation Building on March 13, 2010 beginning at 10:00 AM. And recently added to the schedule, a third pre-camp meeting will be held on March 18th at 6:30pm at the United Baptist Church in Caribou.
The purpose of these meetings is to bring the most updated information about the council’s outdoor summer programs to the leaders who will be participating in them. It is also an opportunity to meet some of the awesome staff members who bring these programs to your scouts.
These meetings are for all who are interested in our council camps including Camp Roosevelt (Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturer resident camps) and Maine High Adventure @ Grand Lake Matagamon(challenging outpost treks).
If you are are attending in 2010, this meeting is for you. If you are not yet signed up for camp during 2010 or you are thinking about attending in 2011, THIS MEETING IS FOR YOU AS WELL!
There is no formal sign up for these meetings. The meetings will include morning amenities and a light lunch at noon. If you have special dietary needs, please come prepared.
