Saturday June 23rd, 2012
On Saturday June 23th we will honor Katahdin Area Council's most dedicated volunteers. Once again the dinner will be held at the Vigue Center in Camp Roosevelt, and will be served by Jeff's Catering. Those who want to attend are invited to fellowship gathering at 6 pm at the Dining Hall. Which will lead to participation in a Flag retreat at 6:45 pm with dinner starting promptly at 7pm!

Silver Beaver Award
The Silver Beaver is the highest honor a council bestow onto a volunteer in Scouting. Last year we honored the following Katahdin Area Council Scouters: Robert Beauregard, James Campbell, and Robert Partridge.

Veteran Awards
Do not forget that Veteran Awards are presented at the Recognition Dinner. Any Scouter who is registered for at least 25 years may have their service pin presented at this event. Don't forget that you must nominate yourself!
