Anything is Possible with Popcorn

The Trails End Popcorn Sale will take place from September 1st through October 22nd. This year's theme for popcorn is "Anything is Possible with Popcorn". This year we have added a new Caramel Corn Light to the product mix. Units should pick up popcorn sales kits at August roundtable/kick-off meetings.

For the past several years Packs, troops and councils around the country have collected popcorn and shipped it to active duty military personnel. In an effort to maximize this effort Trails End Popcorn has made arrangements with the Pentagon to help distribute popcorn that is ordered specifically to go to our men and women in the armed forces. On our take order forms this year is a box that customers can mark off to order $25 worth of popcorn to be distributed to our military.

Units will still be credited with this sale and receive their commission on it, just as though it was a box of microwave popcorn. Scouts that fill up one take order form (25 lines) will be able to receive a free "I Filled it UP" patch from Trail's End Popcorn. They will also be entered into their district's prize give-a-way promotion. Each district will be giving away: a Mitchell Outback Fishing Kit, a set of Motorola 8 mile radius radios, a Bushnell 700x60 talking Telescope and a Magellan Explorist 200 handheld GPS.

Finally, Katahdin Area Council will once again be giving away a Popcorn Grand Prize. It will be a trip for four to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. To qualify for the grand prize drawing a scout needs to fill up two (2) take order forms (50 lines). Their will be entered once for every completed take order form they submit. (minimum 2). So the more a scout sells the better his chances of winning this trip.

The trip will include roundtrip airfare from Bangor to Orlando for four. 4 days and 3 nights at one of Disney's Value resorts and 3 day park hopper pass for four.

Grand prize and district prize drawing will take place on November 10th.
