News from Pamola Lodge
       
       Pamola Lodge has been awarded a $2500 service grant to construct 3 pavilions at Camp Roosevelt. The Pavilions will be located at Camp craft, Nature Lodge and at the training site at No-Namey.

Up Coming OA Events

April 26 - OA work day at KSR. Lunch will be provided, but must RSVP to Dianne at 866-2241 by April 23rd. The OA will start on construction of the Pavilions, and clean up camp from a long winter.

May 30-June 1 – Induction weekend at KSR. New candidates will partake in the Ordeal ceremony, will Ordeal members can complete their Brotherhood. Arrowmen will assist Ranger Paul in preparing camp for the 2008 season, and continue work on the Pavilions. Registration for members can be found at www.pamola.org . Registration fee is $18.00 until May 21st, and then it jumps to $25.

June 6-8 – NE-1A Section Conclave at Mt Norris Scout Reservation in Eden, Vt. The theme is “The spirit never sleeps”. A conclave is a camporee for OA members. For more information go to www.pamola.org or www.ne1a.org/conclave.html . All completed registration forms must be sent Katahdin Area Council office.

June 22-29 – OA Trek week 1 at Maine High Adventure
August10-16 – OA Trek week 2 at Maine High Adventure
       Arrowmen will take part in either a backpacking or canoe trip in the north Maine woods, along the way we will participate in a service project.
