Let me introduce myself, my name is Flat Teddy. You may have heard of my distant cousin Flat Stanley; he has a book written about him.  Please don’t get confused!  I’m a Cub Scout just like you and my all-time favorite Cub Scout activity is CAMPING!  I have heard you have an awesome Scout camp here called Camp Roosevelt.  I hear you can do all kinds of FUN activities there like hiking, archery, swimming, cooking, and bouldering. I also heard you make some cool craft projects and friends that last a lifetime. I’m a patch that represents the Summer Camps theme and I get presented to all those campers who come to Camp and then get to travel around on your Pocket flap wherever  you go after camp! 

We need your help!  We are looking for a Creative Design for this year’s Flat teddy Patch.  Please take the month of Dec./Jan to design a Flat Teddy for this summer’s Cub Camp program!  

This summer’s theme is Dinotopia.  We would like all contest applicants to turn their creative Design’s into Katahdin Area Council by Jan 30th Winners of the Flat Teddy Contest will be honored with having their design made into this year’s patch and given a $25 Gift Certificate for the Scout shop that can be used at Katahdin Area Council’s Scout Shop or the Camp Trading Post.
