Dear Friends of Scouting,

It is hard to believe how much our community has changed over the past few weeks and the impact of COVID-19 on all of our lives.  #GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

You can show your generosity in a variety of ways during #Giving Tuesday Now–whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes, every act of generosity count.

We are one of the many organizations feeling the effects of COVID-19. You can make a difference in our communities by helping to support Scouting. Consider donating to Scouting today. Click here to make a contribution to Scouting. All donations stay local to support Scouting here in the Katahdin Area Council.

#GivingTuesdayNow emphasizes opportunities to give back to communities and causes in safe ways that allow for social connection and kindness even while practicing physical distancing.

We all have gifts to give, and with social media, online giving, delivery, mail, and phones, there are limitless ways to use your generosity to support others.

Today, more than ever, we need your support in order to provide quality Scouting programs in the northern and eastern Maine, which is why we are participating in Giving Tuesday Now, a global day of giving and unity on May 5th!

Show your support – help us launch our Campaign and continue the Scouting Programs to thrive!  No matter how small or big your gift is, it will MAKE AN IMPACT!

Yours in Scouting
